UK pop group Saint Etienne will tour Australia and New Zealand in November and December 2025 for the last time, following the release of their final album International.
Saint Etienne, the UK pop trio formed in 1990 by Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs with vocalist Sarah Cracknell joining in 1991, will make their final tour of Australia and New Zealand this November and December 2025. The band has announced that their 2025 album International will be their last studio release, marking the end of more than three decades of activity.
International, released in September 2025, returned Saint Etienne to the UK Top 10 and was met with critical acclaim. The album reaffirms the group's status as one of Britain's most treasured musical institutions. Fans in Australia and New Zealand will have a rare opportunity to experience the band's characteristic shimmering, genre-blending sound live for the final time.
The group's catalogue spans iconic tracks including 'Only Love Can Break Your Heart' (their transformative debut single covering Neil Young), 'Spring', 'Nothing Can Stop Us', 'You're In A Bad Way', 'He's On The Phone', and 'Wood Cabin'. Their debut album Foxbase Alpha was nominated for the Mercury Prize, while their follow-up So Tough reached the UK Top 10. In 1994, Saint Etienne became the first band ever broadcast live from Glastonbury Festival.
The tour culminates a career defined by innovation and pop craftsmanship. One confirmed date is Monday 23 November 2026 at The Gov in Adelaide, with doors at 7:30pm and tickets priced at $90.85 plus booking fees, presented by Destroy All Lines.
