Irish tenor Robin Tritschler returns to UKARIA on 9 August 2026 for a recital with Melbourne-based pianist Andrea Katz. Tritschler, known on concert stages from London's Wigmore Hall to Seoul Arts Centre, made his Australian recital debut at UKARIA in 2024. Katz, an Argentinian-born pianist, regularly performs with leading vocalists and instrumentalists including violinist Pekka Kuusisto and singers Yvonne Kenny, Peter Coleman-Wright and Emma Matthews.

Tritschler has curated the program around the poetry of Heinrich Heine, honouring the multilingual legacy of his work through English, French, Russian and German songs. Composers represented include Brahms, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Rimsky-Korsakov, Grieg, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov. The concert culminates with Robert Schumann's Dichterliebe (The Poet's Love), setting sixteen of Heine's poems from the Book of Songs. Schumann's musical choices emphasise the narrator's tragic story, with the hope that his settings might 'lift that mask so that wild tears may be transformed into pearls.'

The performance runs approximately 2 hours with a 25-minute interval. Complimentary afternoon tea will be served during the break. Pre-concert soup is available for $17, with light lunch and bus transfers also bookable. Tickets are $80 for adults, $75 concession, and $40 for under 40s.
