Wade Forster Announces Australian Dates For The Dying Breed Tour

NEW SINGLE “TAKE THAT BUCKLE HOME” OUT NOW

Rising country star and Winton, Queensland local Wade Forster is excited to share a brand new single and a fresh run of headline shows across Australia.

Announced today, the Australian leg of Wade’s Dying Breed Tour will see him hit capital cities and regional centres this October and November. It’s another milestone in a breakout year for the Toyota Star Maker winner, whose honest songwriting and undeniable live show continue to resonate with fans in both Australia and the United States.

The announcement arrives alongside Wade’s new single Take That Buckle Home, out now. A heartfelt tribute to a fellow cowboy chasing his dreams, the track captures the grit and pride at the core of Wade’s sound. It also follows a steady run of new releases—One Night Stand, Last of a Dying Breed, and now Take That Buckle Home—with Wade hinting that a full album may be on the horizon.

“I wrote this song about my mate Travis who is killing it over in the States rodeoing at the moment. All of us Australian cowboys and cowgirls can’t wait for him to go to the NFR one day. This song is a testament to his determination and dedication to his craft,” says Wade.

The tour extension comes off the back of red-hot demand across the U.S., where Wade’s debut North American headline run has seen five shows sell out and venues upgraded. From sold-out dates in Texas and Colorado to major festival slots at Born & Raised and Valley Music Festival in Idaho, Wade’s music is finding an audience far beyond his outback home.

ABOUT WADE FORSTER

Wade Forster is a rodeo cowboy and singer-songwriter from Winton in outback Queensland, whose music hits as hard as the life he leads. Raised and still living on a remote cattle station and hardened on the rodeo circuit, his songs tell it straight—stories of love, loss, resilience, and the battles most blokes don’t talk about.

Since picking up a guitar in 2017, Wade has carved a path on grit and authenticity alone—racking up over 50 million streams without a label. After winning the 2024 Toyota Star Maker and sharing the stage with Cody Johnson and Luke Combs, Wade’s voice is now reaching far beyond the outback. His fanbase now stretches deep into the U.S., where sold-out shows and viral moments have cemented his status as the real deal: a modern cowboy with a voice that cuts through and stories that hit home.
