Obscura's Steffen Kummerer brings guitar clinic tour to Australia and New Zealand

Steffen Kummerer from German progressive metal band Obscura brings his When Worlds Collide Guitar Clinic Tour to Australia and New Zealand in September 2026, with stops in Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin, Hobart, and three New Zealand cities. Each clinic covers songwriting, guitar technique, recording and live performance, concluding with Q&A, signing and meet-and-greet sessions.
Following the successful launch of the When Worlds Collide Guitar Clinic Tour, OBSCURA are pleased to announce a new series of clinics across Australia, New Zealand, alongside a special masterclass at Guitar Summit 2026 in Germany.
Hosted by Steffen Kummerer, the clinics offer an in-depth look into the creative and technical aspects of OBSCURA. The program features selected performances from across the band's catalogue, detailed discussions on songwriting, guitar technique, recording, live performance, and Steffen's signature ESP Guitars and ENGL amplifier setups.
Each event concludes with a Q&A, signing session, and meet & greet, giving fans and musicians the opportunity to interact directly with Steffen.
