American singer-songwriter Medium Build returns to Australia in January 2027 for the King of Having Fun on Tour, performing headline shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. The tour supports his sixth studio album King of Having Fun, praised for its honest exploration of recovery and rebuilding alongside rock-and-roll energy and anthemic songwriting that marks a departure from his earlier bedroom-built approach.

Due to kick off the King of Having Fun on Tour this October with extensive headline dates across North America including multiple sold-out shows, the singer has today also announced European and UK dates in addition to Australia in what will be his biggest headline tour to date.

Visiting Australia twice in 2025, Medium Build played a series of headline shows across Australia and New Zealand as well as supporting Role Model on his national tour, before returning as special guest on Alex Warren’s 2025 tour later that year, which also included intimate headline dates of his own in Melbourne and Sydney. Now in 2027, Medium Build - aka Nick Carpenter – returns with a refreshed sense of self on his sixth studio album, King of Having Fun. Praised for its honest reflection on life, recovery and rebuilding, fans will experience the record live for the very first time.

Medium Build will kick off the Australian leg of the tour with a show at Lion Arts Factory, Adelaide on Monday 18 January before heading to Melbourne's Corner Hotel on Tuesday 19 January and The Triffid, Brisbane on Friday 22 January, before a final show at Sydney's Metro Theatre on Saturday 23 January.
