The Original Wailers, led by sole surviving mid-1970s Bob Marley & The Wailers member Al Anderson, play The Gov on Monday 15 March 2027 as part of the One Love Tour.
The Original Wailers return to Australia in March 2027 for the One Love Tour, with a Melbourne date at The Gov on Monday 15 March. Led by legendary guitarist Al Anderson, the band is the sole surviving member from Bob Marley & The Wailers' classic mid-1970s lineup. Al joined the group in 1974 for the Natty Dread recording sessions and played on the landmark albums Live!, Babylon by Bus, Survival, and Uprising. He also backed Peter Tosh on Legalize It and Equal Rights.
In his final days, Bob Marley personally tasked Al with honouring their shared music and keeping the band together. The Original Wailers deliver that promise through a feel-good setlist spanning the timeless catalogue: Is This Love, Could You Be Loved, Three Little Birds, One Love, Buffalo Soldier, No Woman No Cry, I Shot the Sheriff, and Jamming, among others.
Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are $81.10 plus booking fee. The show is presented by Metropolis Touring.
