Adelaide College of the Arts is a TAFE SA campus specialising in education for performing arts, visual arts, and filmmaking. It features two main theatre spaces: a Main Theatre with 220 seats and an X Space experimental theatre with 110 seats, both used for in-house and professional productions.

History

The college was established in 2001 as a purpose-built centre on a $30 million campus designed by architect Adrian Evans, replacing two former institutions: the Centre for the Performing Arts (established 1978) and the North Adelaide School of Arts (established 1979).
