Rock & roll lovers, the wait is over! Today, Foo Fighters unleash their explosive twelfth studio album, Your Favorite Toy – arriving as anticipation builds for their long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand next summer.

Fuelling the charge, the band have been building serious momentum in recent weeks. April saw them drop blistering new single ‘All of the People’ – watch them perform it live at the tiny 80 seat St James Church in Dingle here – following on from early tasters ‘Caught In The Echo’ and the album’s title track, which the band performed live on The Graham Norton Show, watch here. Sharing rehearsal clips, studio teases and a run of appearances – including an intimate London show and interviews with the likes of BBCStudio Brussel, Irish podcaster Logan Sounds Off, Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, and more – the Foos are firmly back in full flight. Next up: a TV appearance on Saturday Night Live UK on April 25, marking another global moment in a week that signals the start of an electrifying new release.

Meanwhile, at 2pm AEST today, fans can catch the brand new video for track ‘Window’, be sure to bookmark below:

Speaking to Classic Rock, Dave Grohl described Your Favorite Toy as “the most fun we’ve had making a record in years,” adding the band approached it with “no rules, no pressure – just the joy of plugging in and seeing what happens.” The result? “It’s loud, it’s melodic, it’s weird in places… but it feels like us. It feels alive.” Guitarist Chris Shiflett echoes the sentiment, calling it “a reminder of why we started doing this in the first place.”

No other stadium rock tour comes close to matching the Take Cover Tour line-up. Personally curated by the band, 16 of Australia and New Zealand’s most exciting rising acts will join Foo Fighters on the road when they head down under, making every stop on the tour a must-see gig, from start-to-finish:
