‘’To all our fans in Australia, unfortunately our airline has cancelled all of our return flights due to the routing through the Middle East. We booked these flights back in December, but due to the current conflict, all our flights have been cancelled. This is a huge blow to us and is beyond our control, we tried many other ways to get Down Under, but with only weeks to go until the shows, this has become impossible. The band, management and the promoter have exhausted all options, there simply isn’t anything we can do at such a late stage. Fear not, we are still coming. We have rescheduled the shows to April 2027, so please hang onto your tickets they will remain valid, if the new dates don’t suit you, full refunds will be given. We thank you for your support and we will see you at the new shows.’’

ENSIFERUM – One of the world’s leading Folk Metal Bands, return to Australia for their “Winter Storm Over Australia” tour April 2027. With their 9th studio album under their belt “Winter Storm”, and celebrating their 30th anniversary, these shows will be huge. Get your drinking horns and Viking helmets ready.
ENSIFERUM finally return to Australia, with their last visit on the “Two Paths” world tour in 2019, having packed shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, this time in 2027 the band are adding Perth, Adelaide and Canberra to the mix, touring the new album “Winter Storm”. The last time that Ensiferum left the studio with a new album, the world promptly shut down due to the covid pandemic. The Finnish folk – Metal Melodeath sensation maintained a prolific release schedule since their first demo in 1997, gradually increasing in stature until eighth album Thalassic crowned their ascent in 2020. That nautical opus went on to top Finland’s album chart, reaching #3 in Germany, and top ten in Switzerland, Canada and the USA. Eventually Ensiferum would take Thalassic on two massive world tours and to festivals like Wacken, Hellfest, Summer Breeze and Ragnarök, but the global health hoo-hah ensured that the four year wait for Winter Storm is the longest in the band’s near 30 year history. The wait is over, Ensiferum are on their way back!!
