Whitechapel drop "Bedlam" video, announce 20th anniversary North American tour
Whitechapel have released a video for "Bedlam," a track from their 2024 album Hymns In Dissonance on Metal Blade Records. The deathcore band will mark their 20th anniversary with a North American headlining tour from November 11 to December 19 featuring Chelsea Grin, The Acacia Strain, and Netherwalker, followed by European dates in January with Sylosis as co-headliners.
WHITECHAPEL Presents Their New Video For “Bedlam”
WHITECHAPEL is pleased to present their latest video for “Bedlam.” The ferocious track comes off the band’s critically-adored Hymns In Dissonance full-length released last year Metal Blade Records.
Comments vocalist Phil Bozeman, “In the album This Is Exile, there was a character ‘Daemon’ [AKA Craig] who is the brother of the cult leader. This song is him admitting his jealousy towards him and defiling his rotting corpse. This is the point of view of him and his dead brother, who is eternally trapped in his own dead body and can still feel and hear everything but cannot move or escape. Craig is basically slowly defiling his body because of his envy towards his older brother being the one who was chosen instead of him to be the seed of evil. ‘Bedlam’ is chaos, confusion, and turmoil which describes this scene.”

WHITECHAPEL will celebrate their 20th anniversary with a special North American headlining tour where they’ll perform songs from their entire discography! Presented by Live Nation, the trek will commence on November 11th in Atlanta, Georgia and run through December 19th in Knoxville, Tennessee. Support will be provided by Chelsea Grin, The Acacia Strain, and Netherwalker.
In January, the band will return to European shores where they will be joined by Sylosis (as co-headliners on select dates), 200 Stab Wounds, and Tribal Gaze. Tickets for all shows are on sale now at whitechapelband.com/pages/tour. See all confirmed dates below.
Hymns In Dissonance, WHITECHAPEL’s most recent studio recording released last Spring via Metal Blade Records, finds the band reinventing themselves, going darker, deeper, and heavier than ever before. The record earned the #2 position on Billboard’s Current Hard Rock Albums chart, 3 on Independent Label Current Albums chart, #4 on the Current Rock Albums chart, and #7 on the Digital Albums chart upon its first week of release.
