Thai Island Life is a fusion of traditional Thai instrumentation by Brisbane based Peranya Visitchantaragoon and blended with Melbourne based Villa Dayze signature Chillout lounge genre production.
Peranya recently worked providing Thai traditional music for HBO’S – The White Lotus: Season 3 working with series music award winning Chilean-Canadian composer Cristobal “Cristo” Tapia de Veer.
Peranya Visitchantaragoon is a Thai classical musician, instrumentalist, composer, and music educator with over ten years of experience performing and teaching Thai classical music in her home country of Thailand, Germany, Italy and Australia.

This project is a celebration of Thai traditional music, blending its rich heritage with a modern chill out lounge vibe. Each track represents a different essence of Thailand, bringing its unique sounds to a global audience. It was both an exciting challenge and a rewarding journey to fuse these elements while keeping the soul of Thai music alive.
A huge thank you to Stephen for his dedication, creativity, and expertise in making these sounds come to life. His ability to mix traditional Thai instruments with contemporary production has truly elevated this project. I hope this music resonates with listeners, offering both a sense of nostalgia and a fresh experience.
