Miss Orange Juicy Release Bold Indie-Anthem ‘Drip Drip (Slay!)’ Built On Inner-Icon Energy

Some collaborations simmer for years before they explode into something electric. That’s exactly what happened when Adelaide singer-songwriter Paige Court (MANE) and producer Mario Späte (Tkay Maidza, WASHINGTON) – two creatives with deep roots in Australia’s music scene finally turned their long-standing friendship into a new project: Miss Orange Juicy.
Today, the duo released their third single Drip Drip (Slay!), a hook-heavy indie-pop anthem celebrating bold confidence and inner-icon energy. Bursting with playful swagger, cadences, punchy drums, and a chorus built for main-character moments, the track is a melodic and lyrically clever reminder to back yourself – written for the everyday heroes quietly showing up for themselves each day.
“Sometimes confidence isn’t loud,” the duo explains. “Sometimes it’s just choosing yourself in small moments. This song is about tapping into that energy – letting yourself feel powerful, even if the world’s a bit chaotic.”
The project brings together two formidable talents. Paige Court first captured national attention as MANE, with her breakthrough single Chasing Butterflies earning millions of streams. Her voice and songwriting have taken her across Australia, Europe, the UK, and the US. Mario Späte is one of South Australia’s most respected producers, with credits including Tkay Maidza, Montaigne, and Meg Washington, multiple South Australian Music Awards, and Aria Nominated collabs. Together, their musical partnership – honed through years of writing, recording and theatre collaborations – now steps fully into the spotlight with Miss Orange Juicy.
“We write from the perspective of our collective inner icon, and it’s completely changed how we create. It’s freed us up to take risks and explore without overthinking. We know Miss Orange Juicy so well now – we can put her in any situation and instantly know how she’d show up. She’s basically become our built-in hype woman… like, what would Miss Orange Juicy do?”
Early momentum shows the chemistry is resonating. Their debut single landed on Apple Music’s New in Indie playlist, and their previous track Sorry Not Sorry received strong early reviews on Triple J Unearthed. The duo recently made their Adelaide live debut at LOUD & QUEER festival alongside REDD, displaying a joyful confidence and cohesion rarely seen from such a new act.
With more music and live shows planned for 2026, Drip Drip (Slay!) marks Miss Orange Juicy’s most confident step yet – a bright, rebellious pop moment from two artists who clearly know how to make a hook land.
