Adelaide metallers Last Rites explore deception on brooding second single
Adelaide melodic metallers Last Rites have released their second single Unmasked Eyes, a brooding exploration of deception and hidden intentions that builds on their debut Dark Clouds with heavier riffs and darker atmosphere. The track was produced by Stuart Stuart and features artwork by Andy Pilkington, continuing the band's partnership with established collaborators.
Hailing from the City of Churches, Last Rites blends melodic metal with modern metal influences, delivering powerful riffs, anthemic choruses and songs that explore hope, resilience and the battles within.
The journey began with the release of their debut single Dark Clouds and continues now with their next release, Unmasked Eyes.

Unmasked Eyes explores deception, distrust and the moment someone’s true intentions finally reveal themselves. Darker in tone than their debut, the track blends brooding atmosphere, heavy modern metal riffs and melody as Last Rites continue to carve out their sound.
