Latino Wings: Celebrating Migration, Culture and Community Through Latin American Art
The Hispanic Women's Association of South Australia (HWASA) is proud to present Latino Wings: Cultural Bridges Through Migrant Latin Art, a vibrant multidisciplinary cultural event that celebrates the migration journeys, creativity, and resilience of Latin American artists living in Australia.
Taking place on 14 November at Marion Domain Theatre, Latino Wings invites audiences to experience a powerful blend of visual arts, photography, music, dance, and theatre inspired by stories of migration, identity, belonging, and cultural heritage.
The event showcases the voices of Latin American migrants who have brought their talents, traditions, and experiences to Australia, enriching the country's multicultural landscape. Through artistic expression, performers and artists share stories of leaving home, adapting to new cultures, overcoming challenges, and building meaningful connections in their adopted communities.

More than an arts event, Latino Wings creates opportunities for dialogue, understanding, and community connection. It celebrates the strength and diversity that migrant communities contribute to Australian society while providing a platform for artists to share their personal and collective experiences.
The November performance also serves as a preview of HWASA's continued participation in the Adelaide Fringe Festival, where Latino Wings will further amplify the voices of Latin American migrant artists and foster intercultural exchange through the arts.
"Migration is a journey that transforms lives and communities. Through Latino Wings, we celebrate the courage, resilience, and creativity of Latin American migrants while inviting audiences to connect with stories that are both deeply personal and universally human," said Dalila Rosero, Producer and President of HWASA.
Audiences will enjoy:
Visual arts and photography exhibitions exploring migration and identity
Live Latin American music and dance performances
Theatre presentations inspired by migrant experiences
Community-focused cultural activities
Opportunities to engage with artists and learn about their journeys
Latino Wings welcomes people from all backgrounds to come together in a celebration of diversity, creativity, and community.
