About Melinda Schneider
Melinda Schneider is one of Australia’s most enduring and beloved entertainers. A multi-award-winning singer-songwriter, live performer and storyteller, Melinda has spent more than 40 years captivating audiences across music, theatre and television.
Beginning her life on stage at just three years old, Melinda has gone on to release 14 albums and receive six CMAA Golden Guitars, cementing her place as a leading voice in Australian music. Her rich career spans country, cabaret, theatre and contemporary performance, with her songs recorded by artists including John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John and Paul Kelly.
A natural performer and passionate interpreter of song, Melinda has enjoyed major touring success, including her acclaimed theatre show DORIS, Doris Day – So Much More Than the Girl Next Door. Beyond the stage, she is the CEO and founder of Mpower Records, a sought-after keynote speaker, female empowerment activist, fashion designer and former Dancing With The Stars contestant.
