The incredible covers, the new music and an Australian tour, Mark and Markus chat all about it.

Known for his incredible fusion of genre, which reaches into “eloquent folk, evocative indie, and enigmatic pop”, Wilkinson brings a unique and intoxicating sense of magic to the live stage. Capturing all the best parts of what his music has to offer on record, and transforming it into an intimate experience of connection and community, Wilkinson’s live show invites audiences to step into his own wondrous world. Spanning seventeen dates across NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA and ACT, the tour will see the multi-instrumentalist performing tracks off of his new album Wild & Hunted Things (out Friday July 4th), as well as diving into his formidable back catalogue of beloved tracks.

“I can’t wait to reconnect with my amazing Aussie fans and showcase the songs from the new album in a live format. I feel like the studio and the live environment are two very different things, both allowing the songs to shine in different ways. There’s a raw energy to the live shows that can’t really be replicated in the studio and I can’t wait to share that energy and some magical unfiltered moments with audiences across Australia!” MARK WILKINSON
