Can you share a bit about your background and what brought you to Adelaide?

Hmm, let’s just say I’ve been up and down a million times and finally found some equilibrium in the middle and sustained a medium of peace in my life; one in which the chill flow of Adelaide has complimented, for now.

2025 has some major enhancements on the way. I can’t say too much now, but definitely stay tuned as myself and few others I work closely with are about to take things up a few notches!

What are your interests outside of reviewing arts and entertainment?

Music production and performance. I myself am a music artist and throughly enjoy making music for myself and others too!

What’s your favourite thing about living in Adelaide?

It’s small and very community oriented which means there’s always something on, and many times you’re out you’re likely to bump into other friends within the same communities.

Do you have a personal mantra or philosophy that guides your work?

I trust the process; I work very intuitively, Always trusting my gut and usually instinctively know exactly where to be at the right times to capture the best footage.

Who or what inspires you most in life?

People who have had a hard life and turn that shit around! I relate to them the most and watching them rise from the ashes only feeds my inner strength further.

What’s a surprising or fun fact about you that not many people know?

I’m also a fully qualified Naturopathic Doctor – COVID made that career path difficult and costly for me, ultimately forcing me to put that down and focus on media production instead. Naturopathy provided me skills I’ve gained during my degree, but Music and Video are my true innate talents. I eventually decided to invest more into my talents and I can always utilise my medical expertise again later down the road.

What’s your ideal way to spend a weekend in Adelaide?

When working: Live Music Events.

In my time off: Fishing and Nature.

If you could only recommend one place to visit in Adelaide, what would it be?

Victor Harbour; it’s a good drive and there’s so much to explore when down there, from the Main Street to Granite island, with tonnes of things to do and see!

Book: A New Earth – Eckart Tolle.

What inspired your passion for arts and entertainment in Adelaide?

My passion had always been in my since a very young age, I may have traveled many different roads since; but inevitably I came back to where I shine the brightest; Arts & Entertainment!

What’s your favourite event or venue in Adelaide?

I love the Regal Theatre in Kensington; I’ve been to a few different shows there and I’m always amazed at how the venue can transform to adapt to each show; ensuring the right sound, lighting and atmospheres set up for each production.

How do you approach reviewing local arts and entertainment?

I use videography to showcase local events and talent; illustrating the beauty captured through the lens and then edited in ways that truly capture the moments and people/artists in spectacular ways.

What’s been your most memorable arts experience in Adelaide so far?

Rachel Grace performing the Australian Barbra Streisand show, from the supporting musicians, the vocal range and talent, the lighting and successful execution of old classics; Rachel Grace blew way past my initial expectations. Not to mention those costume changes… I could tell immediately that a lot of work went into that production.

Do you have a specific focus area, like music, theatre, visual arts, or festivals?

I’m sort of a ‘jack of all trades’ when it comes to the entertainment industry and instead of sticking to a niche, I find the opposite is happening, I keep growing and expanding outwards, learning more and experiencing more.

I don’t think I’ll settle down to a particular focus; I love too many aspects of our arts and entertainment culture here in SA. I get involved in everything and I love it!

What’s one underrated event or artist in Adelaide you think deserves more attention?

‘1PM Sunset’ is a local band who jams out classic rock favourites; and they play all the time, unfortunately a lot of the shows they play are at times when I’m working at other events. But they are sensational, I really love the talent and energy they bring to every show! Definitely worth checking out!

How do you stay connected with the local creative community?

People from all types of communities are always messaging me and keeping me updated with local/upcoming events; for which I am truly grateful for.

If you could interview any artist or performer, who would it be and why?

Kanye West; for personal reasons; I’ve had many personal talks with many international artists. I always enjoy hearing their side of their story. The real life behind the screens and fame… I appreciate hearing that stuff from artist and always feel super privileged and grateful of it.

What’s your go-to spot in Adelaide for creative inspiration or relaxation?

I don’t usually seek inspiration outside, I have all that I need inside. So when I need creative inspiration or relaxation, I don’t go out, I go in…

How do you see the arts and entertainment scene evolving in Adelaide over the next few years?

The cost of living has had an impact on how people enjoy themselves these days. I hope to see the cost of living situations improving so that the entertainment industry can continue to thrive and not suffer, for the most part I Think we’ve always heavily relied on tourism, as tourist are more likely to have more of a disposable income compared to those living her
