New highlights for 2026 include the Wine and Cheese Feast, a French evening experience complete with a Sommelier and Butler serving the finest French regional wines and artisan cheeses. Making its debut is Champagne Garden, an elegant French high tea experience inspired by the garden pavilions of the French châteaux. The 2026 program also expands with the debut of Le Cinema, featuring a curated selection of French films coupled with mulled wine under the South Australian sky.

Experience French tradition in the heart of Adelaide with festival exhibitors showcasing the finest French cuisine and beverages including Long Paddock Cheese, La Bastide Saucissons, Raclette Melted Cheese, French Kiss Crêperie. Bastille Festival Adelaide partner Casa Spirits has curated an exclusive cocktail menu featuring Agave Espresso Martinis, Casa Negronis and Cinnamon Whiskey Cocktails perfect for cool festival evenings.

Bastille Festival also boasts its biggest music and art line-up with more than 40 performances over four days spanning French cabaret and jazz, fire dancers, DJs and French dance classes. The festival will feature an exclusive preview of the State Opera of South Australia’s forthcoming production of Carmen celebrating State Opera’s Golden Jubilee season. Bastille Festival will also celebrate local artists, with a range of stalls and handcrafted creations to take home as a memento.

Bastille Festival Adelaide Founder Vincent Hernandez said that the 2026 program marks a bold evolution for the festival, made possible by strong community support.

“This year, we’re taking Bastille Festival Adelaide to the next level with more opportunities to celebrate all things French in the heart of the city”, Vincent Hernandez said.

“The spirit of Bastille is alive in Adelaide, and this festival is testament to the natural connection between our cultures – a deep appreciation of food, wine and culture, that we can build on together”.

We can’t wait to welcome the French expat community alongside local audiences for what will be our biggest festival in Adelaide”, he said.

Bastille Festival Adelaide continues to cement itself as a standout event on South Australia’s event calendar attracting over 50,000 attendees in its augural year.
