Australian String Quartet returns to Barossa for three days of chamber music and wine

The Australian String Quartet’s (ASQ’s) bespoke music festival, the Barossa Weekend of Music, returns to the region from 18-20 September 2026, spanning three days of thrilling chamber music, artistic collaborations and exceptional food, wine and hospitality experiences in some of the Barossa Valley’s most iconic settings.

The 2026 Barossa Weekend of Music features two concert-only experiences for audiences looking for one or two evenings of entertainment—the Opening Night Concert at Angaston Town Hall on Friday 18 September to kick off celebrations for the weekend, and an Evening Concert on Saturday 19 September in Peter Lehmann Wines’ Old Redemption Cellar.

For those wanting to make a weekend of the experience, limited Gold Packages remain for the full Barossa Weekend of Music experience. The 2026 Barossa Weekend of Music also brings together crossgenre collaborations and Australian talent with special guest artists in award-winning singer Parvyn and multi-instrumentalist Josh Bennett, combining the world of the classical string quartet with influences from Parvyn’s Indian raga, soul, jazz and contemporary music roots.
