80’S LADIESTHE CAST, Adelaide’s premier events band, is bringing their spark to Adelaide Fringe with the return of theirhit show – 80’S LADIES. Starring Chloe Castledine and featuring THE CAST band, this will be one lavishcelebration of some of the biggest hits from the most fabulous 80’s ladies.
Chloe Castledine leads a 15 piece ensemble, including a full team of dancers (IMPACT Entertainment) -bringing to life all our fave 80’s bangers in a most spectacular, hair raising way! THE CAST will re-imaginesongs by some of the most influential female artists of the 1980’s: Whitney, Madonna, Kylie, Dolly, Cyndi…you’ll leave this show completely obsessed with these pop stars all over again.
80’S LADIES celebrates the brave musical women who broke out and rose to fame in the 1980’s, who pushed the boundaries of gender stereotypes, colour, power and individuality, who also unashamedly andunapologetically exposed their raw passion for love and life. Like these women, this show will deliver a non-stop bold, colourful and exciting performance, making sure you feel every bit of the music and passion behind it.
These iconic songs are fun, but it held a little more weight for Chloe during her darker school days. ARomanian heritage and a quirky “out there” personality made for constant bullying. Castledine would find herself sneaking in the assembly hall during lunch, locking the door and playing a mixed tape that a touringdance group left at the school. These songs became her escape and here she danced and sung freely.“
I would learn some of these songs during lunch, and pretend I was Whitney Houston or Kylie Minogue, where no-one could tease me and I wouldn’t get in trouble.”

”Normally busy producing and directing “Civic Park Carols,” as well as managing THE CAST, Chloe Castledine stepped out and entered the Fringe scene in 2022 with her independent breakout showWONDERFULL! A CELEBRATION OF STEVIE WONDER. And then returning in 2023 with 80’S LADIES -not expecting it to be the massive hit it was. 2024 is Castledine’s third crack at the Adelaide Fringe, and brings her producing A-game, with the return and upgrade of 80’S LADIES as well as debuting her new showSO FRESH! HITS OF THE 2000s.
80S LADIES in 2024 have made their home in the amazing venue MOA, in Gluttony in 2024. This show will be both musically and visually stunning and promises a few sneaky surprises!
