Fresh from his sold-out Yeah Nah tour across Australia, the U.S. and Europe, Aussie ex-pat comedian Monty Franklinreturns with a brand-new show, Is That Your Mate?, touring nationally across November.

Now based in Los Angeles, Monty has become a global comedy force, amassing over one billion views online for his sharp, relatable takes on the perils of being Australian in America.
Adding to his credits, Monty has co-written his debut feature film, The Great Emu War, with comedy icons Rob Schneider and John Cleese. This larger-than-life action-adventure, inspired by one of history’s most bizarre true stories, stars the three writers alongside Jim Jefferies and New Zealand favourite, Rhys Darby.
Monty’s comedy career has seen him perform worldwide, headlining major clubs and supporting big names like Rob Schneider, Joe Rogan and Jim Breuer. On screen, he’s featured in Netflix’s Real Rob (seasons 1-3) and appeared in FOX’s New Girl, HULU’s Becoming Bond and Hollywood Darlings.
In Los Angeles, Monty is a regular at The Improv and The Laugh Factory, and became the first Australian comedian to have his name added to the legendary wall at The Comedy Store in Hollywood.
“Go see this man DOWNUNDER, he’s absolutely killing it UP OVER.” Rob Schneider
