Adelaide, SA – Get ready for the biggest Golden Years event yet as DJ JoSH returns in 2026 to celebrate six sensational decades of life, 10 years of The Golden Years, and the 60th birthday of the iconic Arkaba Hotel – all in one unforgettable night of music, memories, and mayhem.
Taking place at the legendary Top of the Ark on Saturday, July 4, 2026, this star-studded edition will feature the electrifying return of international club sensation Slinkee Minx and beloved Adelaide diva Karina Chavez, along with your favorite resident DJs, dancers, and MCs.
SLINKEE MINX – With a string of international chart-toppers including their smash-hit cover of “Summer Rain” and original bangers like “Way of Life” and “Someday,” Slinkee Minx dominated the global dance charts and became one of Australia’s most successful female vocal dance acts. Their debut album Electric Dreams went Gold and received global acclaim, making them icons of the early 2000s dance floors. This will be their 2nd Golden Years appearance, prepare for a live set packed with euphoric 80’s and 90’s nostalgia, polished vocals, and high-energy club anthems that defined a generation.
KARINA CHAVEZ – Back by massive demand, Karina brings her powerhouse vocals and international flair once again to the Arkaba stage. From her ARIA-nominated hit “Show Me Love” to her recent collab with Sgt Slick and Michael Gray on “I Thank You,” Karina’s genre-bending voice and fierce energy are set to lift the roof.
HYPERDANCE – The original Golden Years dancefloor divas are back! The Hyperdancers have lit up the stage year after year with their fierce choreography, club-inspired costumes, and undeniable energy. Hyperdance is Adelaide’s longest-running adult commercial dance studio, and these queens bring decades of podium magic and fierce femme vibes!
