Rising with every move they make, Pierce Brothers are definitely not slowing down as 2025 draws to a close. Fresh off the jubilant release of their fourth studio album Moonrise, which saw the pair take out #1 on the AUS ARIA charts, the beloved Aussie folk duo are now set to kick off 2026 taking the UK and Europe by storm in January and February. But if you missed the special recent run of intimate album launch shows in Victoria, fear not! Australian fans will be able to revel in the spectacular new Pierce Brothers era in the new year, with the pair set to return home next March to kick off a special Australian tour, along with performances at Port Fairy Folk Festival, Groovin The Moo and Bluesfest Byron Bay. And after 12 years in the game, four studio albums, endless acclaim and continuing to enamour stages around the world, the Pierce Brothers international reach has expanded yet again, today also announcing their signing with AIM Booking Agency’s roster for Canada.

Kicking off their Australian performances next March at Port Fairy Festival, Pierce Brothers will headline in Newcastle, Sydney, Adelaide, Mildura, Castlemaine, Barwon Heads, Cairns, Melbourne, Mangrove Mountain and Port Macquarie throughout March, April and May, with performances also primed on March 21 at Wide Open Spaces Festival in Beulah, and April 3 – 4 at Bluesfest Byron Bay. Tickets for Pierce Brothers’ 2026 Australian tour are on sale Wednesday morning at 10am from www.piercebrothers.com.

Most recently wrapping up a special run of album release shows down under, Pierce Brothers ticked off a performance as part of Queenscliff Music Festival fresh off the back of their new album release, with JB Hi-Fi raving of the event: “Pierce Brothers get the most electric crowd reaction, their show is high energy, and they pull all the levers to get the crowd involved and eating out of their palms”. Allowing fans a chance to experience brand new Pierce Brothers magic live in action, the recent shows also offered the duo a chance to brainstorm brand new ideas for their 2026 Aussie run, as Jack Pierce reveals, “We’ve already started experimenting with new instruments on stage in that release week run of shows, so we’re building a whole new set. Right now we just need to find those little surprises in the new songs. The things that we can do extra that make the moment special! We’re constantly looking for those little 1%ers!”

Solidifying their reputation as gifted and boundless creatives, album #4 for Pierce Brothers weaves open-vein storytelling with heartfelt delivery and a kinetic take on folk, indie and rock-hued terrain, once again self-produced by the brothers, Jack Pierce and Patrick Pierce, alongside with their long-time friend and collaborator Phil Threlfall. Across the space of 12 tracks, Moonrise effortlessly picks up where their 2024 #1 charting album Everything Is Bigger Than Me left off, with Moonrise resoundingly broadening the duo’s craftmanship while also presenting, as described by Rolling Stone Australia“a record that captures chaos, change, and a surprising amount of catharsis”

“I’m so stoked to have this album out in the world!” enthuses Jack of the recent release of Moonrise“We worked hard all year in between heavy touring to get this over the line, and it was a monumental effort from everyone involved! Some of the tracks on this album are some of the proudest I’ve been in songwriting, storytelling and production! We’ve just finished a week of playing the new album front to back, 9 sets in 7 days! It was exhausting but also so much more new material in one sitting than we’ve ever performed! And some of those tracks absolutely go off live! Can’t wait to touring them globally in 2026!”

And the good (and global!) news keeps on coming, with the brothers inking a deal with AIM Booking Agency in Canada. Undeniably set to continue the Pierce Brothers global domination, the leading independent agency have signed the pair to a vibrant roster of artists that spans adult contemporary, pop, Americana, folk, roots, global roots, jazz and blues, Indigenous voices, and theatre. Led by founder and experienced agent Nicole RochefortAIM Booking Agency ultimately seeks to inspire, entertain and connect with communities, with a firm focus on storytelling; and what better fit for two of Australia’s best modern storytellers.

Between crafting #1 albums, touring internationally and on home soil, both as headliners and alongside an eyewatering array of icons, generating millions of streams, and continuously expanding a global fanbase time and time again, Pierce Brothers are undeniably one of the most captivating and commanding forces on the Australian music landscape. Igniting their creative journey busking on the streets of Melbourne, Pierce Brothers, aka Pat and Jack Pierce, have enamoured with their larger-than-life charm, prolific storytelling and a potent mix of high energy indie folk, blues and roots. With two top 15 ARIA albums, two Top 10 ARIA Eps, tours that have taken them to the UK, North America, South Africa and Australia, sharing stages with the likes of James Blunt and Tash Sultana, as well as unforgettable moments along the way at Bluesfest Byron Bay, Port Fairy Folk Festival and countless more.

Announcing themselves to the world in 2014 via their breakout EP The Night Tree, it’s genuinely safe to say that the rest was history. Delighting last year via their third full-length Everything Is Bigger Than Me, which debuted at #1 on the Australian Albums Chart and snagged a top 20 debut on the all-genres, all-formats Albums Chart, Pierce Brothers wasted no time kicking off 2025 with an extensive 10th anniversary tour for The Night Tree EP before releasing their most assured and immersive album to date, unveiling Moonrise on November 28. Recently ticking off some intimate album launch shows in Victoria surrounding the release of Moonrise, 2026 will open the floodgates for Australian fans en masse to soak up the splendour of new Pierce Brothers music and also celebrate older favourites in a live setting after the pair return from a largely sold out UK and European tour.

“We can’t wait!” shares Jack of the 2026 Australian shows. “First up is Europe, so we should be in fine form by the time these Aussie shows come around! I can’t wait to get back to 170 Russell, it’s been ages since we’ve played that venue, and have some of our best memories on stage there!
