Get ready to step back into the era that redefined pop culture. ELECTRIFYING 80s is set to tour nationally in 2026, starring acclaimed vocalists Paulini and Tim Campbell with their outstanding live band. Playing 26 dates from March through to June, including performances in both capital cities and regional centres, this spectacular production promises a vibrant celebration of the music, style, and icons that made the 1980s unforgettable.

For the first time on stage together, Paulini and Tim will deliver the ultimate 80s soundtrack, fusing dazzling vocals, dynamic arrangements, and irresistible charisma. From synth-pop hits and soaring ballads to unforgettable movie anthems, expect a setlist spanning Madonna, Lionel Richie, Whitney Houston, Bon Jovi, Prince, INXS and much more. It will be the very music that lit up MTV and filled mixtapes around the world.

Renowned for her powerhouse vocals and commanding stage presence, Paulini has built a career that shines across pop and musical theatre. From ARIA #1 albums, to the iconic Young Divas, to leading roles in The Bodyguard and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Paulini now steps into the spotlight to unleash her inner 80s diva.

“The 80s were fearless, full of big songs, bold fashion and pure emotion. These are the songs I grew up with and still belt out today. To share them live with Tim and audiences nationwide is going to be extraordinary,” Paulini said.

Equally beloved for his decades of stage and TV performances, Tim Campbell brings his trademark energy and charm, together with his lifelong love of the era. Following acclaimed sell out tours with Anthony Callea, Tim is ready to bring his own passion for the 80s to life.

“This era gave us some of the greatest anthems ever written. Performing them with my good friend Paulini is going to be electric. Expect all the classic 80s hits we all love, plenty of laughs and the ultimate 80s party atmosphere,” Tim said.

Blending nostalgia with a fresh contemporary edge, ELECTRIFYING 80s offers a night of iconic music, laughs, and moments to remember. Whether you lived the decade or are discovering it in retrospect, this concert will reignite the energy of a generation that dared to be louder, brighter and bolder than ever.

Paulini

Paulini has been heralded as one of the finest vocalists and performers to come out of Australia. This Fijian born songstress was barely in her 20’s as we watched her shine through the lens of the first series of Australian Idol and thrust into the spotlight as the competition reached fever like pitch. Making it through to the final four, she won the hearts of a nation with her angelic, five octave range, and engaging personality.

As an artist Paulini rose to prominence on the top of the Australian ARIA Charts in 2004 with her debut Platinum album “One Determined Heart” and her Platinum smash single “Angel Eyes”, both hitting the No. 1 spot (Angel Eyes remained at the top of the charts for 6 consecutive weeks). In fact, Paulini is one of only ten Australian female solo artists to have a #1 album.

In 2006, Australia’s sweetheart released her second critically acclaimed album “Superwoman” including the hit singles “Rough Day” and her self-penned “So Over You”, spawning her two UVMA nominations for Best Female Artist and R&B Album of the year. Paulini then joined forces with the Young Divas, releasing an album that spawned three consecutive top 5 hits and two national sold out tours. With double platinum solo albums and singles under her belt, and the incredible success of both Young Divas and the touring ensemble Ladies Of Jazz, Paulini is firmly established as one of Australia’s favourite singers.

Paulini is now moving her career forward in a fresh and positive manner, continuing to record new material and cementing her status as a songwriter. Since inking a publishing deal and signing with Alberts’ Music (home of AC/DC and Vanda and Young) 18 months ago, Paulini has built up an impressive song catalogue as a songwriter with five international cuts already released in Spain, South Africa, Germany and The Netherlands.

After releasing the duet ‘Believe Again’ with Ronan Keating in 2010 in Europe and Australia, Paulini’s international scope widened again recently as she charmed audiences at both the Guangzhou and Shanghai Volkswagen Table Tennis Cup 2011 Championships, prompting another single release ‘Show Me Your Colors’ in the Asian market last month. Paulini is presently putting the final touches on her 3rd solo album release with her brand new single set for release this summer.

Over the years Paulini has grown as a performer, a songwriter and a woman, steering her own destiny in her music career and making choices that she truly feels great about. “I’m at the happiest point in my life. I’m spending my spare time in the studio writing and creating my own work”.

Tim Campbell

Tim Campbell is one of Australia’s most versatile and much-loved entertainers. As a recording artist, Tim’s debut album High School Disco was released in April 2014 through ABC and Universal Music. The album was overwhelmingly received, debuting at No. 25 on the national ARIA charts, No.7 on the Aus album charts and No. 7 on the iTunes’ charts. His national concert tour that followed was to sell out crowds

His sophomore album ELECTRIFYING 80s – Stock Aitken Waterman via his own record label Encore Records, debuted at No. 1 on the Australian Independent Album charts as well as No. 15 on the official ARIA album charts.

Tim is also one of the most sought-after entertainers on the corporate events scene. With his husband Anthony Callea they accomplished a SOLD OUT national concert tour – 27 shows across the country to critical acclaim in 2023 with the Up Close and Unpredictable Tour. In November 2024 Anthony and Tim played yet another series of sold out shows at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall and Sydney Opera House celebrating the Songs of Elton John and George Michael which then embarked on a 33-date SOLD OUT national tour taking the show on the road across Australia.
