Critically acclaimed British-Nigerian artist **Jacob Banks** will return to Australia this **October** for a run of headline shows, bringing his unmistakable voice and genre-defying sound to **Melbourne**, **Brisbane** and **Sydney**.

Known for his distinctive gravelly, soul-drenched vocals and cinematic sound, Banks’ music, including singles *“Unknown (To You)”* and* “Chainsmoking”,* has made waves worldwide. He’s commanded stages at Coachella and Lollapalooza and sold-out headline shows across Europe and North America. Whether backed by a full band or delivering a stripped-back acoustic moment, Banks captivates audiences with every note, his live sets are renowned for their emotional intensity, sonic power and immersive atmosphere.  
  
Breakout performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Montreux Jazz Festival as well as collaborations with artists like Nas, A$AP Rocky and Adekunle Gold further cemented his reputation as a generational talent with unmatched vocal presence.  
   
Banks first made waves with his debut album *Village* (2018), followed by *For My Friends*(2021) and *Lies About The War* (2022). With each release, he continues to explore new terrain – blending R&B, gospel, soul and alternative influences with lyrical depth and emotional resonance.

Now, with his latest project *Yonder*, Banks begins a bold new chapter. A three-part anthology album, *Yonder* is a deeply personal journey that honours all of the various and diverse influences that have shaped him as an artist. Banks describes *Book I *as a *“love letter to Africa”*, an ode to his Nigerian roots and African Soul. *Book II *fuses his love for modern, electronic production with soul and ballads. The final chapter, *Book III*, represents the stripped-back, more classic soul side of Banks’ sound. *Yonder* offers a transcendent experience both on record and on stage.
