A haunting, powerful one-man musical about survival, silence, and being erased from history.
West Germany.
The war is over — but for Karl, it never really ended.

In this deeply moving one-person musical, we meet a gay concentration camp survivor who finds himself on trial again. While Nazi laws have been dismantled, the legislation used to persecute homosexual men remains in place — and the same lists once used by the Nazis are still being used by police.
Those lists were called The Pink List.
Written and performed by Michael Trauffer, this extraordinary work gives voice to stories that were deliberately forgotten. Through song, storytelling, and raw, intimate performance, Karl’s life unfolds — love, fear, survival, and the devastating cost of being denied recognition as a victim.
This is theatre that is spare, beautiful, and devastating in its honesty. One performer. One story. A history that demands to be heard.
Following acclaimed seasons at Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Fringe, and Fringe World Perth, The Pink List arrives at Holden Street for a limited Adelaide season.
