THE CAST, one of Adelaide’s leading events band, is bringing back their spark after the roaring success of 80’S LADIES. Enter their spin off show SO FRESH: HITS OF THE 2000s.

Led by Chloe Castledine, and featuring Winston Howard and THE CAST band, this will be one epic celebration of some of the biggest hits that made theSo Fresh compilation list in the noughties… let’s not pretend we don’t have a few of these.

Castledine leads a 10-piece ensemble, including the Impact Entertainment dancers. This cast creatively bring to life all the top noughties bangers in a most spectacular, hair raising way! This is not a pub gig, this is one big colourful immersive production! It’ll be a Y2K party all over again.

With endless iconic tunes birthed out of the early 2000’s, this show will jam pack in as many as it possibly can. THE CAST will re-imagine songs from teen pop sensations like Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake through to rock bands Good Charlotte and JET… and not forgetting all the other genres in between.

“It’s unbelievable that these songs are now considered ‘retro’ because there’s no doubt most of these tunes are now on our Spotify playlists”l aughs Castledine. “Nothing screams the noughties more than a ‘So Fresh’ compilation CD that you probably bought at a Sanity store, with the money you earned from working at Maccas.”

Castledine of course, drawing inspiration from her teenage years:‘“I grew up wanting so badly to be a pop-star, so as a young adult stepping into Y2K – artists like Christina Aguilera, KellyClarkson, The Veronica’s and bands like Evanescence and Coldplay really lit a fire in me and fuelled that desire. But who had the cash to spend on each album? Those ‘So Fresh’ CD’s were alife saver. The music of that day shaped my whole career.”

Normally busy producing and directing the show “Civic Park Carols,” as well as managing THE CAST, Chloe Castledine stepped out and entered the Fringe scene in 2022 with her independent breakout show WONDERFULL! A CELEBRATION OF STEVIE WONDER. And then returning in2023 with 80’S LADIES. Not done with with producing, Castledine did a soft launch of “Noughties Girl: Hits of the Y2K” at the Gluttony Winter Arts Festival in July 2023. After the success of this launch, the show is now re-birthed as SO FRESH! HITS OF 2000s…promising its usual flair and excitement.

SO FRESH! HITS OF THE 2000s will debut at the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2024, hosted byGluttony, inside The Virago. This show will be both musically and visually stunning!

Only 6 shows to gather all your friends, family, kids & neighbours together – this show creates an atmosphere of excitement and vivid nostalgia.
