Adelaide, warm up your vocal cords. In 2026, Sink or SING! An Interactive Cabaret returns to Adelaide Fringe after a smash-hit season at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, with an even bigger band – the Hot Mess Orchestra.
Hosted by award-winning vocalist and international vocal coach Amelie Peters, Sink or SING! is the interactive singing party for bathroom belters, car karaoke queens (and kings), and anyone who’s ever secretly dreamed of being the star. Blending comedy, storytelling and crowd participation, the show turns a night at the cabaret into a joyful group therapy session – with pop bangers.
Wholesome, hilarious, and a little bit vulnerable, the show invites audiences on a nostalgic journey through music, memories and self-discovery – reminding everyone why singing your heart out feels so good. Whether you’re in your “hot mess era” or just here for a good time, this is your sign to live your main-character moment.
Following its 2024 Adelaide debut, a Gluttony season at the 2025 Fringe, and an international cabaret debut at Edinburgh’s Gilded Balloon, Sink or SING! now returns home to BankSA Theatre at Gluttony – Rymill Park, ready to turn a whole new crowd of Fringe-goers into a late-night choir. With air-conditioning, a fully stocked bar and plenty of “liquid courage” on hand, it’s the ideal place to end your Fringe night on a high note.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Amelie Peters is an award-winning, classically trained vocalist, songwriter, cabaret artist and international vocal coach known for her innovative approach to vocal education and show creation. Based in South Australia and a graduate of the Elder Conservatorium of Music, she has worked with hundreds of artists worldwide, many of whom have gone on to successful professional careers. Sink or SING! continues her mission to make singing empowering, accessible and fun for everyone.
