Zooma Zooma – A High-Energy, Feel-Good Jazz Spectacle
I had the opportunity to see Zooma Zooma, and I was absolutely blown away by the talent of these homegrown entertainers.
This all-Adelaide production is a thrilling mix of gangster jazz, classic hits, comedy, and chaos, transporting the audience straight to the golden era of 1950s and ’60s Las Vegas. A salute to the legendary Louis Prima, the show celebrates his infectious energy and timeless hits like Just a Gigolo, Buona Sera, Angelina, Jump Jive & Wail, and more. Leading the charge is Julian Ferraretto, an internationally acclaimed jazz musician, whose brilliant musicianship sets the tone for an electrifying night.
Paired with Anthony Leppa, a powerhouse singer and quick witted comedian, the duo brings Prima’s spirit to life with swinging rhythms and non-stop laughs. The show is further elevated by the stunning vocals of special guest Kylie Ferreira, adding even more charm and star power. With a superb band, incredible chemistry, and feel-good nostalgia, Zooma Zooma is a must-see for jazz lovers and fans of high-energy, classic Vegas-style entertainment.
