Sarah C: A Show-Stopping Performance at Gluttony, Adelaide Fringe!
Sarah C set the stage on fire at Gluttony, Adelaide Fringe, delivering an electrifying performance that paid tribute to the iconic voices of Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, Amy Winehouse, Tina Arena, Renée Geyer, and Aretha Franklin.

Last seen in Adelaide in 2023 with a Freddie Mercury show at The Arkaba and a George, Aretha & Whitney show at The Regal Theatre, it was great to see this incredible performer back in our state. But this time round for her first ever Adelaide Fringe, and boy, did she own it!
She was completely in the zone, effortlessly hitting Whitney’s soaring high notes and channeling the raw power and soul of these legendary artists. Backed by a superb four-piece band, their music was a quality foundation for allowing Sarah’s powerhouse vocals to take center stage.
A stand out was a terrific performance of Chains by the Australian Diva – Tina Arena. If you hadn’t already worked out that has the chops, this was the song that jolted you to the realisation Sarah is at the top of her game.
But what really set her apart was the way she connected with the audience – engaging, passionate, and clearly loving every moment on stage. The crowd was on their feet, completely captivated by her talent and energy.
The band equally brilliant, led by Adelaide’s Willy Metzer, the musician-ship was exceptional. Yes, acoustically not great in the Adelaide Fringe tents, but we expect that, it’s what it is all about – it does not take away from the fine performances at all.
This show was a celebration of music, soul, and pure vocal brilliance. If you get the chance to see Sarah C live, don’t miss it!
