The ‘Disturbances’ high-voltage live show has already seen them share stages with the likes of **Grinspoon, Frenzal Rhomb, Dune Rats, The Screaming Jets, Beddy Rays, Goons Of Doom **and** Private Function**, and the road ahead looks just as exciting. **Purple Disturbance is; **Thomas Downes: Vocalist, Jed Freudenstein: Guitarist, Joshua Downes: Bass, Jessica Franklin: Drums Lead singer Thom channels the spirit of a young **Jim Morrison** and the frenetic energy of** Iggy Pop**, his vocal swagger riding over a rhythm section that hits with the force of a freight train. Brother Josh locks down the low end with driving bass lines. Jess unleashes drums with **Keith Moon**–like zeal, and Jed’s gritty Gretsch cuts through it all with raw precision. The result is a sound that tips its hat to **The Ramones** and **IDLES** yet remains unmistakably their own — urgent, electrifying punk delivered with explosive energy.
