A new sound of darkness takes shape…
Enigmatic synth rock duo, ZETRA, have stepped out from the shadows to announce a new 5-track EP, titled ‘Believe‘. It will be released digitally on August 22nd via Nuclear Blast Records.
They have also released an ethereal, crushingly beautiful new single ‘The Spider‘.
On ‘The Spider‘, ZETRA commented:
“The golden thread becomes a web.
The silken strands entice you, but do not linger.
Will you climb to brighter heights?
Or descend into madness.
And ever he waits.
And ever he watches.”
ZETRA added about the ‘Believe‘ EP:

Shrouded in mystery, the UK duo blend elements of shoegaze, synth, and post-punk into a sound that is other-worldly and spellbinding. Emerging from the underground with a haunting visual aesthetic of cloaked figures and vintage analog synths, ZETRA have already begun to carve a devoted cult following.
ZETRA were recently awarded The Great Escape‘s Steve Strange Award for 2025, following their performance at the festival earlier this year. The award celebrates boundary-breaking new talent and the legacy of the iconic music agent Steve Strange.
