# Wild Horizon launches with Where the Midnight Angels Live

Wild Horizon, a new Australian music project built on Dave Varacalli's songwriting, Julia Overeem's vocals and Daniel Giaccio's production, releases debut single Where the Midnight Angels Live on Friday, 4 September 2026. Australian music project **Wild Horizon** will release its debut single, **Where the Midnight Angels Live**, on Friday, 4 September 2026. Built around the songwriting of **Dave Varacalli**, the voice of **Julia Overeem** and production by **Daniel Giaccio**, Wild Horizon brings together melodic rock, pop and cinematic atmosphere with one central idea: songs that feel like movement.

Where the Midnight Angels Live begins that journey.

Driven by a soaring vocal performance, widescreen production and a chorus built for late-night roads and open horizons, the track captures the moment where uncertainty, attraction and possibility collide. For Dave Varacalli, Wild Horizon represents a new chapter rather than simply another musical project.

“Wild Horizon is about songs that take you somewhere. I want people to finish a song feeling a little more alive than when they started. ‘Where the Midnight Angels Live’ felt like the perfect first track because it has that sense of night, movement and possibility running right through it.”

The project also places Julia Overeem’s vocal identity front and centre, giving Wild Horizon a distinctive voice while Daniel Giaccio’s production provides the scale and polish around Dave’s songwriting. Before its official release, Where the Midnight Angels Live will receive its radio premiere on OTAT247 on 27 August 2026, with further radio support already beginning to emerge ahead of release.

Wild Horizon’s wider catalogue is already in development, with further releases planned following the debut single. The philosophy behind the project is perhaps best summed up by its recurring line: 

Ride until the horizon changes colour.
