# TOM BUSBY Drops Another Taste Of Forthcoming Debut Solo Album With New Single ‘Lottery’

Beloved singer songwriter **Tom Busby** has today released his new single*** Lottery***, *(**[out now](https://revolutionsperminuteprptyltd.cmail19.com/t/d-l-gllktut-ikttmjjlt-i/)**) *offering his fans another slice of what’s to come from his much anticipated debut solo album, ***Rockhampton Hangover.***

***Lottery, ***produced by indie icon Ben Kweller and recorded in Texas, follows his previous tracks, ***Cyclone****, ****Someone Strong**** *and his debut solo single* ****Waiting For Tomorrow, ***which achieved over 30K streams in the first weeks of release. 

On discussing the new single Tom explains, *“It’s all about finding joy in the little wins. For some people, that’s hitting the jackpot – for me, it’s moments with my family, music, freedom, and feeling alive. It’s easily the most thumping track on the album – loud, loose, and built for the stage… and who doesn’t love a whistle hook? This one’s a belter”.*

With Tom’s raw, authoritative vocals and a gift for telling deeply human stories, anticipation is high for the new album which is certain to cement his place as a distinct and compelling voice in country music, owning his space with conviction and soul.

You can catch Tom performing live at the charity event *Our Moon’s Mission* on Saturday August 9 at Peregian Springs in Queensland and he will also be joining the lineup on *Lighthouse Rock* in Burnett Heads, the event taking place on October 18.

Tom Busby is a cherished singer-songwriter from the Gold Coast, Australia.

As part of the celebrated folk duo Busby Marou, Tom and his bandmate Jeremy Marou have been playing sold-out venues, stacking up certified Gold and Platinum Records, and earning nods from APRA and ARIA including 4 x Song Of The Year Awards, an ARIA Number 1 Album with their 2017 release *‘Postcards From The Shell House’, *and 3 x Top 5 ARIA charting albums
