West Australian Garage Rock legends **The Stems** return with the third blast in a series of killer single releases. With a new studio album also taking shape, The Stems’ latest single ‘**Your Kind of Love**’ follows 2024’s ‘**Falling from the Sky**’ and last year’s ‘**Deep Freeze**’ in a dance floor frenzy of full throttle fuzz to melt your senses.

Out now on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms, ‘Your Kind of Love’ is also available on 7″ vinyl in classic black and limited-edition translucent yellow, with the red vinyl edition already sold out.  The B-side, ‘***Malasaña’****,*  is an instrumental track that would fit seamlessly into a sixties spy soundtrack.

Dig the unmistakable trademark sound of The Stems at the height of their powers.

Original members **Dom Mariani, Julian Matthews,** and **Dave Shaw** are joined by **Davey Lane (You Am I)** who steps in as the Stems’ fourth wheel on guitar, vocals, and frenetic bongos.

To celebrate the release, The Stems will launch the single with a run of shows in WA & Spain throughout June and July, with more dates to be announced soon.

**ABOUT THE STEMS**

The Stems attained their own legendary status in the Australian and International music scene – roaring out of Perth with a sound and style that definitively captured the spirit and enthusiasm of sixties garage music – lurching fuzz-tone guitars, brooding organ, solid gold garage-punk, and primo power pop! They not only created a distinctive sonic identity but also penned unforgettable songs while delivering electrifying live performances.

In the late ’80s, The Stems achieved acclaim with a series of singles and EPs and the timeless ‘At First Sight, Violet are Blue’ LP in 1987. The group disbanded in late 1987 and made a significant comeback in 2003, playing to sold-out crowds nationwide. Since then, they have continued to tour regularly in front of audiences across Australia, Europe, Japan, and the United States.
