**THE PLEASURES DROP NEW SINGLE ‘WE’RE ALL A LITTLE BLUE’ AS ALBUM TOUR KICKS OFF**

**PERFORMING AT GROUNDWATER COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND**

**The Pleasures** kicked off their official album tour this month with a powerful performance at the Deni Ute Muster — and this weekend, they hit the **Groundwater Country Music Festival in QLD**, lighting up the mainstage both tonight and Saturday night.

This first leg of the tour will take the band into charming venues and festivals across Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT, and Victoria, bringing their raw and raucous live energy to audiences across the east coast.

Today also marks the release of a brand new single from their critically acclaimed sophomore album, **Enemy of My Enemy**. The track, “**We’re All A Little Blue**,” has already been striking a chord with listeners – quickly emerging as a fan favourite on streaming platforms and connecting deeply with live audiences.

Both **Catherine Britt** and **Lachlan Bryan** agree, “It’s a favourite of ours – but we all felt that last on the album was the right place for it. Kindness and acceptance is again at the fore – this time through a ‘70s folky singer-songwriter lens. The subjects in all of these songs are adult – adults with life experience – and this one seems to sum it all up pretty well.”

It’s the poignant lyrics, the clever arrangement, that make you really feel, and we all know on some days, ‘we are all a little blue.’ With that, it still holds a resolution, an uplifting tilt, and it’s as pretty as they get. Soft and sensitive.

We’re all a little lost
All a little lonely
We’re all a little tired of finding out too late
What we should have known yesterday
A little broken, a little used
We’re all a little blue

I drink at the bar where there are strangers to meet
They show me the scars they picked up out on the street
They’re like old friends of mine
Just trying to get through

And they’re a bit uneasy
All a little warm
All afraid of something they can’t put their fingers on
A little bitter
A little bit confused
Yeah we’re all a little blue

Enemy Of My Enemy is country blues with hypnotic melodies. A fantastic combination of vocals, piano, bass, and guitar sounds”* – Dirty Rock Magazine- Spain
