The Holdens: Dream Dealers, the label owned and operated by prominent Australian singer, songwriter, producer and television personality Mark Holden, is set to release four albums through MGM in 2026.
The first of these is A Tribute to Tex Morton, an album originally recorded in 1999 and performed in full at the 2001 Tamworth Country Music Festival by Mark’s family band, The Holdens.

The late, great Tex Morton – known as ‘The Father of Australian Country Music’ – was celebrated on the world stage as one of the most exciting and versatile performers of his era. The Holdens (Mark, Mick, Dallas and Roger Treble) grew up with Tex’s music, and years after his passing would often gather together to play and sing those old songs together. Eventually they decided to bring them to life in the studio with a group of this country’s finest country session musicians and perform them at the spiritual home of Australian country.
Now, twenty-five years on from their Tamworth performance (and nearly one hundred years since Tex’s own first recordings), this beautiful tribute will be available for streaming on all major platforms.
