Following the release of their emotionally resonant EP Let The Light In in June, Ireland’s beloved band Picture This today return with new single “Yours Forever”. Known for their vivid storytelling and deeply personal lyrics, the band continue to explore the complexities of love and heartbreak in this stirring new offering.

“Yours Forever” is a powerful breakup ballad that captures the ache of holding on to someone who’s already gone. With lyrics like “Know you’re no longer mine / But I’ll be yours forever,” the track is a poignant reflection on memory, devotion and the quiet heartbreak of watching someone move on.

“The song is an admittance that even though the person in question is no longer yours, you know deep down inside that your heart will always belong to them.” says vocalist Ryan Hennessy“Whether they want it or not, and whether you want it or not – It is tinged with an air of post break up jealousy where one naively compares themselves to their former lovers new interest and feels as though they can love them ‘better’ than this new person.

After playing over thirty Summer shows across Europe and Ireland, Picture This are at the peak of their live powers; when the band announced four Christmas shows in Belfast and Dublin, all 45,000 tickets sold out in under an hour. The band are currently on their first ever visit to Australia, joining Tom Grennan on his tour of down under, before launching their own headline run in May 2026 with dates spanning Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourneand Perth. Tickets go on sale from 12pm local time on Monday 13 October.

In Ireland, Picture This are superstars. Their debut single “Take My Hand” is a veritable anthem, propelling them to become the only band to ever sell out five consecutive nights at 3Arena (Dublin’s equivalent to London’s O2).

It all began in 2015 when a young Ryan Hennessy from the small town of Athy, County Kildare, Ireland, recorded a video of his song “Take My Hand” on his iPhone. The video was uploaded to Facebook and YouTube and amassed over 4 million views across all platforms. A message from drummer, Jimmy Rainsford, also from Athy, followed – saying they had to play together – and sparking a journey that led to the band’s debut gig at the Grand Social venue in Dublin, which they sold out in under 30 minutes. To meet the demand, the gig was moved to The Academy (850 capacity), which they also sold out, making them the first act to ever do so for a debut show.

Over the past 5 years, Picture This have made their mark as one of Ireland’s biggest live acts, consistently playing to massive crowds. In the summers, they’ve headlined major shows, attracting over 15,000 people in Cork and more than 20,000 in cities like Dublin and Belfast. They’ve sold out Belfast’s SSE Arena (10,000 capacity) and Dublin’s 3 Arena (12,000 capacity) twice in a row, multiple times.

Despite playing in the major cities, the band has always appreciated their fans who travel from all over the country. To show their gratitude and repay their fans’ loyalty, Picture This embarked on a tour unlike any before. In 2025, Picture This were “Home For Summer”, with sell out shows across all 9 Irish dates.

A decade on from that first viral video, Picture This continue to prove they are Ireland’s most unstoppable live band. Their new song, “Yours Forever” is a reminder of why they’ve captured the hearts of so many – a song that lingers long after the final chorus fades. Don’t miss the chance to hear it live when they bring their electrifying show to Australian audiences next year. In the meantime, you can stream “Yours Forever” HERE.
