The long-awaited return of **JET** rolls on, on the eve of the band’s **EU,** **UK **and** US **leg of their **‘Get Born’ **20th anniversary tour. Adding to the growing anticipation, the band now share their new single **‘Hurry Hurry’** – their first new material in 15 years – along with its b-side **‘Un’avventura’**. Both tracks featured on a very limited 7” single which sold-out during**JET’s **shows in **Australia** earlier this year, where **‘Hurry Hurry’ **also became a regular highlight of the live set.

**‘Hurry Hurry’** is **JET** doing what they do best: gritty, groove-laden rock ‘n’ roll in the finest of traditions, played with the frantic pulse of a band eager to make their mark on the world – just as they did when they first made a phenomenal global impact. Now, though, there’s a masterly control to their rambunctious spirit which gives the track a tighter focus, while searing, **Motown**-esque female backing vocals complement the raspy power of** Nic Cester’s** topline.

**Nic** says, “*‘Hurry Hurry’ is our first single in 15 years and a little appetiser while we continue to work on our upcoming album. We’ve been playing ‘Hurry Hurry’ live with a great response from our fans in Australia, we’re really looking forward to debuting it live at our overseas shows in Italy, the UK and the US.”*

A searing shriek from** Nic **opens a free-spirited, **Stax**-style rock ‘n’ soul take on **‘Un’avventura’**. With **Nic** performing in both **English **and **Italian** (he has lived in Italy for the past 15 years), **JET’s** version amplifies with the energy of **Lucio Battisti’s **original (and **Wilson Pickett’s** cover) without losing any of its innate charm.

**‘Hurry Hurry’** also provides a first taste of **JET’s** new studio album, which is set to follow in **2025**.

**JET’s Australian ‘Get Born’ **anniversary shows were rapturously received.** Backseat Mafia’s **review stated, “*Nic Cester is of course a consummate and charming performer and Jet delivered the most energetic and enthralling performance filled with an energy that reflected their twenty-year ago younger selves.”* Meanwhile, **The Music **described last year’s Melbourne performance as *“one of the best gigs of the year.”*

In addition to the **UK** and **Ireland **dates, listed below, **JET **have plenty more international touring on the schedule. They will play two shows in** Italy** at the end of September ahead of a sold out **North American** tour, returning to Australia to collaborate with the **Melbourne Symphony Orchestra** for an unforgettable night in **November**.

**JET **achieved phenomenal success in their first incarnation, with their **2003** debut album**‘Get Born’** racing up charts around the world and achieving more than **6 million **sales – including Platinum status in the UK in recognition of **300,000+ **sales. Two further hit albums followed in the shape of** ‘Shine On’ **(**2006**) and **‘Shaka Rock’ **(**2009**), while their catalogue of hits –** ‘Are You Gonna Be My Girl’**,** ‘Look What You’ve Done’**,** ‘Cold Hard Bitch’**, **‘Hold On’**, **‘She’s A Genius’ **and many more – still connecting with new fans all these years later.
