Iggy And Biggy Pop Salute The Hoodoo Gurus

40th ANNIVERSARY EDITIONS OF MARS NEEDS GUITARS! RELEASED NEXT MONTH!

Now here’s an announcement we never thought we’d make!

Punk legend, Iggy Pop‘s parrot, Biggy Pop, has done a deep dive into the Hoodoo Gurus’ catalogue today and has posted a video of himself on Instagram gyrating to Where Nowhere Is (from the Gurus‘ 1987 album, Blow Your Cool) while dad Iggy looks on.

Iggy often posts videos of Biggy dancing to rock’n’roll songs and today he chose to get down to  the Gurus. It’s all to help next week’s Wild Aid concert to raise money for Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital. Iggy and Biggy are both patrons of the Hospital and the Hoodoo Guruswill be performing on Saturday, 27 September at The Green Room (on the Bluesfest site) along with seven-time Grammy winner Toni Childs and Brisbane indie legends, Screamfeeder.
