A Hundred Years or More debuts at #1 on the ARIA Australian Top 50 Single Sales Chart!
#1 debut on the AIR Independent Singles Chart
Rob Hirst, Jim Moginie and Hamish Stuart’s new EP, A Hundred Years or More, has debuted at #1 on the ARIA Australian Singles Chart this week meaning it sold more physical product than any other single or EP in Australia.
The EP also debuted at #1 on the Australian Independent Record Association (AIR) Independent Singles Chart.
Rob Hirst said, “Thanks so much to everyone who has made A Hundred Years or More such a great success. Jim, Hamish and I loved recording the songs and we’re delighted by the tremendous show of support.”

This latest EP follows the success of Red Continent, which topped the Australian Independent Record Labels Association charts in September 2023, and reached #3 on the ARIA Chart Report. Like Red Continent, A Hundred Years or More was recorded by Jim Moginie at Oceanic Studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Mixing was by Warne Livesey, who has worked with Midnight Oil and the band’s members since 1987. Ted Howardrecorded the lead vocal on the title track.
