## Monica loves the theatre and loves ALL the drama of it. From the red carpets, the fashion and the quality of the shows - of course she had to be on the team. Duh!

**Most Memorable Adelaide Experience: **Seeing the Fringe Parade for the first time, when I used to work in a salon on the seond level of Rundle St. Had no idea about the fringe and it was so cool learning about all these awesome events happening in Adelaide.

A qualified and exceptional hairdresser with her own salon, Monica juggles her beloved career with being a mother to two beautiful girls.

 

To shake up her life and add the all import spice, she loves to ‘frock-up’ and experience the Arts & Entertainment of Adelaide!

**What are your interests outside of reviewing arts and entertainment? **

I love all things hair, beauty, fashion and photography.  
I also love sharing my interests in all this with my beautiful girls.

**What’s your favourite thing about living in Adelaide?**

The variety of things to do.  
Surrounded by beautiful beaches, wineries and entertainment everywhere.

**Who or what inspires you most in life?**  
Creating art.

**What’s your ideal way to spend a weekend in Adelaide?**

Morning beach walks. Love the low tides and exploring to find little fishies, starfish and beautiful shells with my girls.

**What advice would you give to someone looking to explore arts and entertainment in Adelaide? **

**What inspired your passion for arts and entertainment in Adelaide?**

I love music, comedy, acrobatics, so I live shows that combine all this together. Big bonus points for amazing, hair, make-up and costumes. I get hugely disappointed and can’t get it I it if I’m looking at any of this done poorly.

**What’s your favourite event or venue in Adelaide? **

The Fringe, I love the huge variety of acts.

**Do you have a specific focus area, like music, theatre, visual arts, or festivals?**

A bit of everything, I don’t like to focus on one area and like to keep an open mind.

**If you could interview any artist or performer, who would it be and why?**

Sofi Tukker. They seem so cool, fun and insanely talented.

**What’s your go-to spot in Adelaide for creative inspiration or relaxation? **

I love Semaphore beach.
