Over the last five months MISSY HIGGINS has criss-crossed Australia, attracting unanimous raves for The Second Act Tour. With the new release finally landing on September 6 (via EMI Music Australia, pre-order here), Missy today announced a handful of encore concerts to bring this memorable tour to a thrilling finale including three spectacular a day on the green encore shows: Sirromet Wines, Mount Cotton, QLD on Saturday 23 November; Centennial Vineyards, Bowral, NSW on Saturday 30 November; and Peter Lehmann Wines, Barossa Valley, SA on Saturday 7 December. These performances mark Missy’s first time headlining a day on the green since 2006.

Tickets go on sale on Tuesday 3 September at 11.00am local time via Ticketmaster, with a day on the green, Frontier Touring members’ and AAMI customers’ presales beginning Friday 30 August at 11.00am local time.

These will be some of Missy’s biggest headlining shows since 2005 when The Sound Of White was riding high. It’s a phenomenal way to cap off what’s been a massive year for Missy, which will include her induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame in November, as announced last week.

“I never imagined it would take me most of 2024 to do this Australian tour,” Missy confesses, “but it’s been such a great experience on every level that I’m glad the band and I will get to share it a few more times with all these big crowds. There have been lots of fans posting about how disappointed they were to miss out on getting a chance to see this two-act show so now they’ll have no excuse!”

Despite selling out 40 dates so far, most tickets for The Second Act Tour were snapped up within minutes, so these encore shows will provide one last opportunity to discover why this unique live concert has attracted gushing critical acclaim such as:
