Fanning Dempsey National Park

With only three weeks to go until Fanning Dempsey National Park’s headline tour kicks off in Brisbane on Friday October 11, comes news that Sydney’s Enmore Theatre show on Saturday October 12 has SOLD OUT making it the fourth sold out show on this national run of dates.

First shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth are sold out, leading to second shows going on sale – Brisbane (The Tivoli, Saturday 9 November), Melbourne (Forum, Sunday 20 October) and Perth (Astor Theatre, Thursday 31 October) – with limited tickets now remaining.

Due to the incredible demand for tickets to see two of Australia’s most revered artists, a handful of tickets have been released for all shows (except Sydney) and these will be the final tickets available – no further shows will be added on what has become one of the year’s most anticipated tours.

Tickets are on sale now from www.fanningdempseynationalpark.com

‘The Deluge’ debuted at #3 on the ARIA Album Chart, #1 on the Vinyl Chart and was the Double J Feature Album. Recorded across Norway, San Francisco, and Byron Bay and produced by Craig Silvey (Arctic Monkeys, Florence + the Machine, Sam Fender) ‘The Deluge’ saw Fanning Dempsey National Park craft a bold new sound, exemplified by lead single ‘Disconnect’ (#1 Triple M radio), title track ‘The Deluge’, ‘Born Expecting’, and new single ‘Blood’.

The warm melody and open-hearted reflection of ‘Blood’ has drawn people to the song, and the video is out now. You can watch it here

Opening for Fanning Dempsey National Park as the support act on all shows is Merpire, the moniker of Melbourne-based artist Rhiannon Atkinson-Howatt, who writes music living somewhere between the rom-com and horror movie sections of her mind.

With powerful, versatile performances, word of Merpire’s live show captured the hearts of Irish indie-rock outfit Pillow Queens. After their double appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Pillow Queens have since taken Merpire’s band twice around the UK.

“Fun, unpredictable and bursting with analogue synthesizers, the album’s 10 songs broach sonic territory neither frontman has fully chartered in their respective Hottest 100, chart and award-dominating rock bands.”
Double J

“The result is The Deluge, an album which harks back to Berlin-era Bowie, Gary Numan’s Tubeway Army, new-wave era Robert Palmer, Duran Duran – and Foreigner.”
