Major KI77 fan event – ADELAIDE – AUGUST 2025 August 9,
2025, marks 30 years since arguably USA’s most successful rock band KISS steps outside of its comfort zone to play a one-off show, live, for MTV’s Unplugged series of specials, recorded at Sony studios in New York city.
This historic event saw the band reunite for the first time in over 20 years for a select set with all 4 original members – Paul Stanley |Gene Simmons | Ace Frehley | Peter Criss
This collaboration would ultimately see a full reunion of KISS in its signature face paint for a full world tour.
WOODSHED in collaboration with FRUITY Promotions are thrilled to announce the KISS FANS KONVENTION 2025, celebrating the anniversary of KISS MTV Unplugged, taking place on the exact same day as recorded 30 years ago – Saturday August 9, 2025!
This event sees a full day convention, with face painters, merch stalls, rare collectables for sale and all things KISS. Most Importantly – a total recreation Balls and all – note for note of this famous unplugged special, followed by and electric KISS ALIVE Ill set performed by Australia’s most prominent KISS non makeup outfit, Queensland’s KISSIT.
