**FAMILY CHRISTMAS: NIKKI WEBSTER TO SHARE THE ST JOHN CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT STAGE WITH DAUGHTER SKYLAH**

From one generation to the next, Nikki Webster and her daughter Skylah will share the magic of Christmas on stage at the 82nd St John Carols by Candlelight at Elder Park/Tarntanya Wama.

Best known as the star of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, Nikki became a household name at just 13 years old before launching a successful pop career with hits including Strawberry Kisses. She went on to star in major musical productions including The Sound of Music and Les Misérables, and now runs her own performing arts school, Dance Nikki Webster.

More than two decades after Nikki first captured the nation’s attention, her daughter Skylah is following in her famous mother’s footsteps.

Skylah recently made her musical theatre debut in the Australian production of Annie, marking the beginning of her own performing career. The mother-daughter duo has already experienced the thrill of sharing a major stage, performing together at Under the Southern Skies at Accor Stadium in September 2025 to mark 25 years since the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

Now, they’ll reunite for a very different kind celebration, bringing their special family connection to the Carols stage for, what will be a very special Christmas performance.

Nikki Webster said:

“Watching Skylah grow up surrounded by music and performance, and now getting to share a stage with her, is such a special feeling.

“I’m so proud of her, and sharing this experience together is something we’ll both remember forever.”
