Holden Street Theatres (HST) is extremely proud to present its first collaboration with acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter and award-winning artist Duane Forrest who is gracing the stage at The Arch HST for Adelaide Fringe 2026 with his show **Bob Marley: How Reggae Changed The World **from **17 Feb- 22 Mar 2026**.

After selling out at the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe last year and kicking off the 2026 tour in New York Off-Broadway, Forrest returns to Adelaide with a new version of the show and invites audiences to come and experience and immerse themselves in this powerful journey.

Born to Jamaican parents in Toronto, Duane shares his story of how being exposed toreggae music transformed his life. Ayoungmaninsearchofhisidentityandanunderstanding of his heritage.

Duane takes audiences on a deeply human journey through the roots of reggae and the global influence and legacy of Marley.

This vibrant, heartfelt solo show celebrates Bob Marley’s legacy through music, personal storytelling, and cultural reflection. Drawing on his Jamaican heritage and years of global touring, Duane brings iconic songs like *One Love*, *Three Little Birds*, and *No Woman No Cry *to life alongside original music inspired by Marley’s impact. The production connects reggae’s cultural history with the spirit of Rastafarianism and the global struggle for justice and unity.

For Duane Forrest the opportunity to return to Adelaide Fringe is a dream start to 2026.

Bob Marley: How Reggae Changed The World has been earning global acclaim as an uplifting, personal and unforgettable performance. In 2025 the show won an Adelaide Fringe weekly award for Best Music. This year the show will also tour across North America and Europe commanding audiences and playing to sold out houses. Duane is a creator of original, interdisciplinary works and has released multiple albums. This new show for Adelaide Fringe will feature new songs and stories adding a new dimension for returning audiences.

HST Artistic Director Martha Lott is thrilled to be presenting the show’s return to Adelaide Fringe with an exclusive season at HST.
