# Hentley Farm's museum wine supports Adelaide Symphony Orchestra's next chapter

The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and Hentley Farm have released a limited-edition 2017 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon from the winery's Museum Collection to mark the ASO's 90th anniversary, with proceeds supporting the orchestra's future operations. Pre-orders for the commemorative wine are available until 14 August 2026, with each bottle featuring a QR code linking to a recording selected by ASO Chief Conductor Mark Wigglesworth.

The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra (ASO) and leading Barossa Valley winery Hentley Farm have joined forces to launch an exclusive wine release celebrating the orchestra’s 90th anniversary. 

 The limited-release 2017 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon has been selected from Hentley Farm’s Museum Collection to mark this significant milestone in the ASO’s history. Proceeds from this release will support the orchestra’s commitment to music making for future generations.

ASO’s Head of Development, Lucy Eckermann said the collaboration is part of a shared commitment to showcasing the best of South Australian culture and experiences.

“This commemorative release brings together two iconic South Australian brands to capture a significant milestone in the ASO’s history. We are proud to partner with Hentley Farm to create an exceptional experience that celebrates music, wine and community”, Eckermann said.

Hentley Farm Chief Operating Officer Stuart Mosman said that the release celebrates its ongoing partnership with the ASO, and reflects the rich artistry found in both wine and music. 

“Wine and music have long been kindred expressions of creativity, each shaping and reflecting the human experience over centuries. At their heart, both exist to bring people together, creating moments of connection and shared enjoyment”, Mosman said. 

“Our partnership with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra is an inspired one. In celebrating their 90th anniversary, we sought to offer a wine that echoes the character of an orchestra: layered, expressive and a blend of many parts”. 

Each bottle features a QR code linking to an ASO recording personally selected by ASO Chief Conductor Mark Wigglesworth.
