Cimafunk Releases New Single ‘Dime’

Ahead Of The August 23 Release Of His Highly Anticipated Third Album “Pa’ Tu Cuerpa” (‘For Your Body’), The Dynamic Back-to-Back Grammy Nominated Cuban Funk Star Shares A Sensual R&B Groove About ‘Surrendering To Love’ As The Latest Advance Single

Just released: Back-to-back Grammy-nominated Cuban Funk & Fusion star Cimafunk taps into his more sensual side with “Dime” (‘Tell Me’) – a slow simmer R&B song of summer passion.

The fourth advance track from CIMAFUNK’s eagerly awaited upcoming third album, “Dime” details the personal feelings of vulnerability that come when you open yourself up to falling in love.

“Dime is a special track – a beautiful and emotional process for me from the song’s creation to the video. It’s a song about surrendering to love. The vibe that producer Alfredo Gonzales created with the music immediately transported me to a place of tenderness and love. Almost the entirety of the lyrics came out improvised from a single take in the studio. I remember as the verse formed, it was the spark to know that the song was very special. The release of “Dime” will be accompanied by a powerful new video filmed in the bayou outside of Cimafunk’s new home in New Orleans. “DIME” is the follow-up to Cimafunk’s recent releases of “Pretty” a New Orleans BOUNCE and Afro-Cuban fusion with Big Freedia and “Catalina” with Monsier Perine. The track capturing a fervent love affair, set to the sound of a cross-Caribbean summer celebration has gone viral on Spotify and fan video platforms in Colombia and more of Latin America.
