Artists and audiences alike are set to converge at Woodville Town Hall for one of the most ambitious and artist-led Adelaide Fringe programs, positioning the venue as one of the festival’s fastest-growing suburban hubs.

The 2026 season brings together 25 shows across more than 60 individual performances, spanning comedy, circus, theatre, live music, dance and family programming, with a strong focus on bold voices, inclusive storytelling and high-quality live performance.
Among the key acts is the family-friendly, boundary-pushing physical theatre collective FoRT, bringing their magical circus adventure packed with ridiculous clowning and spectacular acrobatics. Families will also be entertained by cult kids’ favourite Mr Snotbottom, returning with the wildly popular P. Gee!, alongside internationally touring illusionist Saksham with the slick, high-energy Magical Madness.

There will be laughs aplenty as comedy favourite Mel Buttle appears for a Fringe-exclusive, one-night-only performance, while one of the UK’s most acclaimed comedians, Stephen K Amos, returns to Australia with a brand-new show at Woodville Town Hall.

For music lovers, highlights include Bob Dylan Reborn: Rolling Thunder Revue, presented for one night only; legendary dancer and storyteller Movin’ Melvin Brown (Lead Image), whose award-winning musical blends song, tap dance, humour and heart; and Boleros, celebrating the timeless beauty of Latin American boleros through iconic songs featured in films such as Coco and Breaking Bad
Together, these artists anchor a program that celebrates creativity across generations, genres and cultures, delivering Fringe experiences that range from laugh-out-loud comedy and jaw-dropping magic to emotionally rich storytelling and joyful movement.
Other highlights across the 2026 program include:
- Time Goes By – A high-energy, feel-good journey through iconic decades of music, fashion and dance.
- Maple Ain’t Sweet – A raw, funny and heartfelt one-woman show exploring love, loss and the sticky side of immigration.
- The Sound of Gospel – Classic gospel songs to stir the soul, featuring music by Aretha Franklin, Johnny Cash and more.
